The Network Overlap feature helps you identify the mutual partners and clients shared between two entities. You can use this feature to build a strong argument if you are approaching a potential partner/client to work with or request an introduction to a potential new partner/client through your mutual connections.

How to use:

  1. Enter your firm as Entity A and any applicant/firm as Entity B. You can select multiple entities in both fields.
  2. Add constraints, for example, publication authorities, technical fields, etc, if relevant.
  3. Click Check Network Overlap.
  4. Retrieve the list of mutual entities that both parties work with. The mutual entities are listed based on the highest volume of filings that both Entity A and Entity B are working with. You can however, reorder the mutual entities based on volumes of either Entity A or Entity B.

Use case:

Your partners can be your strongest advocates. You can leverage the Network Overlap feature to know who the other law firms that your prospect is also familiar with, then ask them for a testimonial, referral, or even advice on how to win over the prospect.

Rather than a cold outreach, you can use the Network Overlap to find mutual partners or clients who can help to open doors.
